The Kwahu Traditional Council has banned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from undertaking any political activity in the area.

The Council also directed the immediate closure of two radio stations, Okwahu FM and Afram FM because of their affiliation to the party.

This comes after the Kwahu Traditional Council accused the NDC and its Regional Executives of raining curses on Kwahu land and dishouring an invitation to address the issue.

However, reacting to the situation on news and current affairs programme ‘Behind the News’ former Eastern Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mark Oliver Kevor said the public should disregard rumors making rounds that he and other supporters of the party have cursed Kwahu land.

He explained that they only poured libation but it has been misinterpreted to mean the invocation of curses.

Mr. Kevor stressed that none of the Regional Executives have been invited by the Kwahu Traditional Council on the matter.
