15 migrants dead after boat capsizes off Libya: survivors

Fifteen migrants are reported dead, while ten others have survived eleven days at sea after their boat capsized off the coast of Libya.
According to the Spokesperson for the Libyan Red Crescent, Baha al-Kawash, the migrants had set off for Italy from the city of Sabratha, west of Tripoli, but their vessel overturned, later sending them ashore in Misrata, about 270 kilometers east of their departure point.
The 10 survivors, who include two women, spent 11 days at sea without any food or water before reaching a beach in Misrata.
Two of the survivors are from Algeria and Egypt, and the rest are from sub-Sahara Africa.
