Kenya extends night curfew to March to curb COVID-19 spread

Kenya has extended its night curfew to March 12, to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

A statement from the office of President Uhuru Kenyatta, said the curfew would be from 10 p.m to 4 a.m.

Ban on political and roadside gatherings that have the tendency of promoting the spread of the virus has also been extended for another 60 days.

Kenya has so far recorded 96,802 COVID-19 cases with one 1,685 deaths.
