Authorities in Kenya have suspended all in-person meetings and public gatherings countrywide to help contain COVID-19, in the wake of the Delta variant.
Kenya’s Health Minister, Mutahi Kagwe said the government had asked public and private sector employers to allow their workers to work from home unless those classified as essential services.
He said all meetings and conferences, should be conducted either virtual or postponed in the coming 30 days.
