Nigeria’s DJ Switch wants to be able to go back home after she fled to Canada for her safety.

She was on the forefront during the anti-police brutality protests that rocked the West African country last month and often live streamed police using force against protesters.

DJ Switch, in a CNN interview, said she wanted to tell her story under oath as a witness to reported police shootings in Lekki area.

“If they want to pick me up at that point there’s nothing to try and silence me for, so if they still want to pick me up no problem,” she said.

Police and the military have previously denied any wrongdoing during the protests.

The deejay said she received death threats during and after the protests.

Some of the other main protesters have had their bank accounts frozen by the central bank.
