The Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG) has cautioned the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) of the adverse implication of the EndSARS impasse in Nigeria, on the sub region.

According to the Forum, considering that, Nigerians formed about 60% of the sub region’s population, ECOWAS cannot afford any social explosion from the situation in the country.

In a statement issued by SFG, Head of International Relations, Justice Akufo-Henaku said ECOWAS must use all available diplomatic channels to pressurize for restraint and dialogue in Nigeria.

They must do so in the interest of the Nigerian masses knowing that  can  deeply established Ghana and West Africa.

The forum however said they are encouraged by the decision of the Nigerian youth in showing that they are for each other as demonstrated in their fight to end police brutalities in their country.
