Uganda’s President, Yoweri Museveni, is taking a forced leave after testing positive for Covid-19.

The 78-year-old leader wrote in a statement, that he noticed symptoms resembling mild flu.

He has therefore isolated himself and has delegated his work in a number of days to Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja.

Mr. Museveni was grateful to God all is well, despite experiencing mild symptoms.

Meanwhile, the WHO has declared an end to Covid-19 as a global health emergency.
