The Daily Graphic reiterates the need for Regional Ministers to stand and be counted. It says article 256 of the Constitution tasks Regional Ministers as representatives of the President in the regions to be responsible for the coordination and direction of government machinery in the regions. In this way therefore, the Paper notes that Regional Ministers must ensure the achievement of targets and assist Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies to deliver on their mandates.  Additionally, the Graphic is gladdened by the confidence of the President that the absence of Deputy Ministers will not affect their work. It urges them to do their best not to fail the President for Ghanaians to blame it on the absence of Deputy Ministers.
