The Daily Graphic urges Christians to use the Easter festivities to renew their minds and lives to reflect the exemplary life of Jesus Christ since it has a lot to teach them. The paper asks Christians not to be interested only in merry-making on the occasion but be shaped by the Easter message – love for society and mankind which coupled with hardwork can move the country from its current state to a higher one. It urges citizens to support good initiatives that have the potential to catapult the country into development.

The Ghanaian Times commends the police for its effort in ensuring public safety during the Easter celebrations as personnel have been deployed to the regions to maintain law and order. The paper hopes the mere presence of the police would deter motorist from disobeying traffic regulations to prevent accidents and also ward off criminals and provide the public with the needed security.
