The Daily Graphic expresses worry over the nature of the country’s tourism sites. The paper believes the tourism sector is one area which the country can utilize to generate a lot of revenue from both local and international tourists. The Daily Graphic says it is sad that the country is also losing its folklore and stories that keep the younger generation informed and educated. It therefore urges the Ministries of Tourism, Culture and Creative arts and Local Government and all stakeholders to come together to streamline their roles and help sustain the tourism industry.

Ghanaian Times commends the Inspector General of Police for interdicting three police officers after they allegedly beat to death a 48-year old man at Seikwa in the Bono region and secretly buried the body. The Paper believes it has become necessary to carve a new image for the Ghanaian police as their image. It says many Ghanaians raise issues that the police particularly those who deal directly with the public portray a service that is violent, intimidates, corrupts and treats people unfairly. In view of this, the Times entreats the IGP to investigate the causes of such unprofessional behavior by some of his staff and build a true professional service in whom the public can repose trust for their safety and security.
