The Ghanaian Times has added its voice to calls on the public to avail themselves for the COVID-19 vaccination when immunization starts saying that, the COVID-19 vaccine is safe to strengthen the immune system. It expressed worry about the misconceptions being peddled by the public and asked that no vaccine will be tried on humans if it has not gone through proper testing. The Paper says government will not intend to harm its citizens and urged all to participate. The Times adds that while it is expected that the COVID-19 containment will improve, it appeals to all to continue to observe the COVID-19 protocol of washing hands under running water, wearing of nose masks, social distancing and other such things, as well as personal hygiene and managing underlying health conditions.
