The Daily Graphic urges the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), to step up efforts to revive lost interest in investment following the collapse of some 53 firms. The paper believes that the ordeal customers of the collapsed firms are going through is disturbing and could have been avoided if SEC had provided more information to guide them. The Graphic wonders why the Commission has not been able to create an electronic platform to enable the customers to complete the validation process instead of converging on one place for the exercise. The Paper therefore urges SEC to do the right thing to ease the stress on the customers.
