The Daily Graphic finds it unfortunate that Parliament, which is a law making body becomes an obstacle for journalists as they work to satisfy the public desire to be informed. It is however happy with the commitment of the Speaker of Parliament to ensure press freedom. The paper believes that criticisms against the media are always welcome but must be devoid of threats to make journalists feel intimidated. It advises journalists to observe high ethical standards in the performance of their Constitutional mandate.
