Both the Ghanaian Times and the Daily Graphic comment on Ghana’s 63rd Independence Anniversary. The Daily Graphic expresses worry about the loss of sense of nationalism and patriotism by the citizenry saying the attitude of “I do not care”, and “it is government’s responsibility” is destroying the country. According to the paper, this can only be addressed if the citizenry change their mindset and mentality towards the country.
