The Daily Graphic finds the intervention planned by government to roll people living with the sickle cell disease unto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as not only refreshing but heartwarming. According to government it is working with partners to ensure that people living with the disease also have access to Hydroxyurea, which is a more efficient drug for the treatment of the disease. The Graphic says this development will surely bring smiles unto the faces of people living with sickle cell and should not be truncated through inaction. It hopes the interaction will end the pain and trauma of persons living with the disease. The Paper further commends Novartis for the partnership with government which is likely to bring hope to sickle cell patients.

The Ghanaian Times calls for immediate steps to introduce some regulations to check the youth in their activities on social media which perpetrate, crime. This is to prevent what is happening in other countries where young people are committing suicide, murder, kidnapping, fraud and plain thievery. The paper agrees with the Chancellor of Ho Technical University, Professor Ben Honyegah that the unregulated and unethical use of young people on the internet is posing a bleak future for the country. The Times advocates the curtailment of the freedoms of young people in their misuse of the internet and social media platforms. It recommends that the state takes a critical look at the suggestion by the Professor and act on it before it gets out of hand.
