The Pan African Historical Theatre Festival (PANAFEST) and Emancipation Day Celebration has been launched at the Center for National Culture in Cape Coast.
The theme for this year’s celebration is, “Beyond 400 years; reaching across continents into the future.”
The festival which attracts a significant number of foreign visitors, especially people of African decent will form a part of the “Year of return, Ghana 2019” launched by the President in Washington in September 2018.
