Ahead of the Christmas and new year festivities and the masquerade festival in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region, the Regional office of the Ghana Health Service has put in place measures to prevent an increase in Covid-19 cases.
According to the Regional Health Promotion Officer at the Ghana Health Service, Daniel Bomfeh, he met with the leadership of the various masquerade groups and ensured that all members who participate in the event have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
He spoke to GBC’s Marie Aziz Tunde in Sekondi.
