Accra Bar Week 2025 ended over the weekend, marking a milestone in Ghana’s hospitality calendar by bringing together drinks and hospitality experts from across Africa, Europe and beyond in a week-long celebration of skill, culture and collaboration.

The event attracted hospitality professionals, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts for a series of interactive masterclasses, thought-provoking discussions and culturally immersive experiences. Sessions explored mixology, branding and partnership opportunities, with a strong focus on building connections to strengthen the drinks and hospitality community.

Highlights included training sessions by Cass from the European Bartender School; guest shifts by international bartenders at venues such as No.19 Bar and Restaurant, Aria, Front/Back, Kozo and Alley Bar; a marketing and branding forum led by Bliss King and his team; and The Art of Collaboration session hosted by Antoine Mensah.

The week also saw the launch of The Republic Bar’s new coffee flavour, reflecting the creativity shaping Ghana’s hospitality identity.

Organisers say the event provided a valuable platform for cross-cultural exchange, with participants exploring innovative approaches to drinks service, brand development and customer experience.

By connecting stakeholders, innovators and consumers, Accra Bar Week underscored the role of community-driven growth in strengthening Ghana’s hospitality industry.
