The Rising Star Challenge serves as a springboard for new and upcoming artists, providing them with opportunities to connect with a broader audience and enhance their visibility within the music industry. The program includes a social media submission contest, educational workshops, a curated playlist, and the chance to perform live on the AfroFuture Music Festival stage.
Participants will also compete for a range of benefits, including:
- A performance slot at the AfroFuture festival.
- A cash prize to support their musical careers.
- Access to professional mentorship and a music writing camp.
Applicants are required to complete an online form and submit a video entry as part of the selection process. The Top 12 finalists will be chosen based on audience engagement metrics such as reposts, shares, and overall interaction.
