DKB lashes out at Pentecost TV; Calls them Judgemental

DKB, Stand up Ghanaian comedian

By Emmanuel Oti Acheampong

Ghanaian Comedy giant Derrick Kwabena Bonney popularly known in the entertainment circles as DKB has lashed out at  Pentecost TV which belongs to the Pentecost Church in Ghana, for being judgmental during one of their morning show programs.

In a video posted on his official Twitter page, the rib cracker stated his displeasure with the host with regards to artists who produce and make secular music to be on the other side, which literally according to DKB means, devil’s side.

His outburst came after hearing the host question why there are lookalikes for artists on the other side but gospel musicians in the country haven’t got any. He labelled the speech by the presenter as judgmental and hypocritical because, during intimate moments of the leaders of the church or even Christians at large, gospel songs are barred, so calling the artistes whose songs are enjoyed in the bedroom to be people on the other side was not right.

DKB admitted that he is a member of the Pentecost church, and he firmly felt disappointed by the utterances of the host of the church’s television channel after watching the channel for the first time.
