Dwayne Johnson is not one to shy away from poking fun at himself, and recently took blame for his Baywatch reboot being ‘rotten.’

And it seems the 46-year-old wishes more people wouldn’t take life so seriously, as the star has hit out at the ‘snowflake generation.’

Chatting to the Daily Star, the former wrestler expressed his opinions on today’s society while reflecting on how much we’ve advanced over the past decade.

Try not to get offended.

He said: ‘So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended.

‘If you are not agreeing with them then they are offended – and that is not what so many great men and women fought for.

‘We thankfully now live in a world that has progressed over the last 30 or 40 years. People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want.’

The Rock added: ‘That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.’

Dwayne is known for trolling other celebrities, but recently joked about his own appearance in the 2007 movie Baywatch, after receiving a Golden Razzie.

Sharing a picture of the award, along with a Moana poster Disney had sent him a gift commemorating the incredible sale for the soundtrack, the star laughed off the film’s flop.

He wrote: ‘Great homecoming for me. After months away from home due to filming, I come back home to these Christmas gift surprises waiting for me in my office.

‘Amazing gift from Disney commemorating over 5 MILLION WORLDWIDE SALES for our soundtrack of MOANA, on which I sang the song YOU’RE WELCOME.’
