Despite the global phenomenon of the novel Covid- 19, services in hotels in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region were encouraging.
This was made known by the Public Relations Officer who doubles as the Food and Beverage Manager of Akayet Hotel, Emmanuel Tengey, in an interview with GBC’s Emmanuel Akayeti in Bolgatanga, the Regional capital in the run up of the festivities.
Mr Tengey said he was impressed and surprised by the pàatronage of their services during the yuletide as well as the New Year.
He explained some of activities carried out during the season to make the celebrants enjoy and said emphasis had been on client satisfaction.
The Cost Credit Controller of the Hotel, Philip Jeffrey Dzebu, also said he was impressed and surprised by the patronage in spite of its snail pace in the initial stages of the season.
He expressed optimism 2022 would be as it is in preparation towards its fifth anniversary celebration.
