Budding Ghanaian artiste Kimilist who burst onto the scene in 2019 after the release of his first single Yawa has received the biggest recognition thus far in his music career.
The Mimilife Records signee went on an impeccable run between 2020 and 2021 with songs like Borkor Borkor, Kyere with Kwame Yesu, Sika with Kwame Yesu, and Yaw Tog while making appearances on multiple songs including the hit single Anadwo with Kwame Yesu and Black Sherif.
As the good book says, he who sows the good seed is bound to have a good harvest. Kimilist has sowed good seed and his harvest is beginning to flow in. Over the weekend at the nominee ceremony of the Ghana Music Awards UK, Kimilist was honored with two nominations.

New artiste of the year and Hiplife/Hip-hop song of the for his song Sika featuring Kwame Yesu and Yaw Tog. This happens to be the act’s highest honor in his music career and his first-ever international recognition.
This year’s event happens to be the 6th edition and is scheduled for Saturday, October 29th, 2022.
