Ghanaian gospel minister Kofi Owusu Peprah has shared insights into his journey in the music industry, highlighting years of mentorship and support from some of Ghana’s leading gospel icons.

According to Peprah, his close association with award-winning gospel artiste Joe Mettle began in 2018, shortly after Mettle won Artiste of the Year. “He gave me the benefit of the doubt and welcomed me into his inner circle. I would travel from Kumasi to Accra just to attend rehearsals with him,” Peprah recalled.

The partnership continued until 2023, when they amicably went their separate ways. However, their bond remained, as Joe Mettle was present at Peprah’s programme last Sunday.

Reflecting on his career, Peprah expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with several A-list artistes who have supported his journey. “I have been privileged to work with Ohemaa Mercy, Akesse Brempong, Joe Mettle, and Diana Hamilton. They have all held my hand and played a role in shaping my ministry,” he said.
