A Ghanaian musician, Kweku Appiah Kubi, known by his stage name Kweku Afro, has shared the inspiration behind his song titled “Spending Time” from his album “Another Side”.
In an interview with Valerie Danso on GTV’s Breakfast Showbiz, he discussed how spending time with family and loved ones has influenced his songwriting and personal growth.
“On October 21, 2021, I welcomed my daughter from Italy. That’s when I truly understood that there is more to life than just being away from people or not wanting to be with family due to depression or other factors,” he said on Monday, September 11, 2023.
Furthermore, Kweku Afro had some words of encouragement for young people, urging them to refrain from playing the blame game and focus on putting in the work.
He emphasised that successful individuals achieve their goals through collaboration and hard work.
