It doesn’t look like the dust between Ghana‘s Big Ivy and Nigeria’s self-acclaimed rap queen Mama Dollarz will settle anytime soon because finally, Mama Dollarz has responded to her opponent with a new single “Prodigal Daughter” days after she called her out for a face-to-face rap battle that will either be held in Ghana or Nigeria.

Mama Dollarz’s ‘Prodigal Daughter’ comes few weeks after Big Ivy dropped her song ‘Poison Ivy’.

The rap battle between the mothers, does not look like it will end now but one thing that makes it fun is the unique titles they give to their songs which include ‘Big momma’, ‘Mama Naira’, ‘Poison Ivy’, ‘Prodigal daughter’ amongst others.

In the song, ‘Prodigal Daughter’, Mama Dollarz talked about how she has made Big Ivy famous hence she should be accorded the needed respect.

She also added that she wants to teach Big Ivy about rap just like a loving mother does for her child.

“Never bite the hand that feeds you” is a line in the song. Does this mean Mama Dollarz has been feeding Big Ivy? If yes, with what exactly?

The big news here is that ‘Big Ivy’ was part of the cast in the popular Ghanaian youth series, “YOLO” even before the battle began.

For how long will this beef last?

Should both Ghanaian and Nigerian female rappers join the challenge by supporting their own?

Let’s wait and see what the next title of the reply from Big Ivy will be.
