A popular Nigerian singer who has come out with a new album ‘Woman of steel’ Yemi Alade, has been nominated for Grammy 2019 Award.

The singer confirmed on an Accra based radio station during a phone conversation, celebrating the good news of moving her musical career to the global stage in Grammy Award.

“Please vote to consider my Album ‘Woman of Steel’ the best music world album.

This has been an incredible project and I would like to celebrate with all of you”.

The singer is first afrobeat female to have over 100 million views on a single video which is her hit single ‘Johnny’

Yemi Alade has several landmark achievements, which include BET, MTV African Music Award and MOBO awards.
