The Nigerian actors arrived at the Accra International Airport on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, ahead of the production of the film, which is being produced under Lil Win’s Wezzy Empire banner.
Lil Win was at the airport with members of his Wezzy Empire team to welcome the visiting actors as they arrived for the cross-border production.

A Journey to Africa (Nzulezu) is the follow-up to Lil Win’s 2024 film A Country Called Ghana, which also featured prominent Nigerian actors including Ramsey Nouah, Victor Osuagwu and Charles Awurum.
Lil Win had previously announced plans for A Journey to Africa, describing it as a bigger project following A Country Called Ghana. At the time, he indicated that the film would bring together actors from Nigeria, South Africa, the United States and Ghana.
The new production is centred around Nzulezu, the historic stilt village in Ghana’s Western Region. The village, built on Lake Tadane in the Amansuri wetland, is known for its houses constructed over the water and is one of Ghana’s notable cultural and tourism sites.
The film is expected to showcase the location while bringing together established talents from Ghana and Nigeria.
Among the Nigerian cast, veteran actors Kanayo O. Kanayo and Patience Ozokwor bring decades of Nollywood experience, while Mike Ezuruonye, Zubby Michael and Destiny Etiko represent some of the industry’s prominent contemporary faces.
With A Journey to Africa (Nzulezu), he is seeking to build on the regional attention generated by ‘A Country Called Ghana’ while placing a distinctive Ghanaian cultural location at the centre of his latest production.
