Winner of the ‘Artiste of the Decade’ at the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Award, VGMA, Sarkodie, has advised his fellow musicians to control their emotions regardless of the provocation.
The rapper in a tweet stated although emotions can be difficult to rein in, acting on reflexes can lead a person into making wrong decisions or choices.
He wrote, “With an industry dominated by men, egos will always be up but again as men we need to control our emotions. Our reflexes might lead us to make wrong choices and we definitely have to work on emotions”.
His comments come after a fight that broke out on stage between the camps of Dancehall artistes Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale marred the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to Sarkodie, regardless of how angry an artiste can make another, they should not let that blind them on how good they all are.
