Black Star Square turned into a sea of lights, music, and loud cheers as thousands gathered for the much-talked-about Taste the Culture event. Big names from Ghana and Nigeria came together to give fans a night they will not forget.

‎In the early hours of the day ahead of the big night, local foods, dresses wieved with Kente were on display at the Black Star Square where the visitors from all walks of life had a taste of the Ghanaian local dishes.

The night opened with a warm and soulful start as the West African Coast Band, led by Ghanaian singer Lamisi, gently prepared the crowd for what was to come. Soon after, Kwaku DMC from Kumasi stepped on stage and fired sharp rap punchlines that drew heavy applause from fans.

‎Energy continued to rise as Jupitar and EL, the Koko Heat hitmaker, thrilled the audience with strong performances. Music producer and singer Nacee then changed the mood, taking fans into a calm worship moment that had many singing along with deep emotion.

The tempo quickly picked up again when Kwaw Kese stormed the stage with raw energy. Gyakie followed with her sweet vocals, setting a romantic tone, before King Promise delivered smooth hits that kept the crowd dancing and singing.

As midnight approached and the atmosphere seemed to slow down, Nigeria’s Omah Lay changed everything. His entrance brought fresh life to the crowd. The biggest shock of the night came when African music giant Davido joined him on stage. Together, they performed their popular song “With You”, sending the entire square into wild excitement.

Moments later, Africa’s Afrobeats Queen, Tiwa Savage, took over and kept the energy high with a powerful performance that proved why she remains one of the continent’s biggest stars.

‎The night finally closed with Ghana’s own Black Sherif. With a fierce and emotional performance, he held the crowd in his grip and ended the show on a thrilling note.
