The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture says it is poised to generate five million dollars as revenue by next year.
To this end, plans are far advanced for the ministry to develop at least two tourist attraction sites in each of the 16 regions to make it profitable and deepen its relevance to the economy.
The Sector Minister, Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Awal, said this at a stakeholder engagement in Tamale as part of a 3-day working visit to the Northern Region during which he toured some tourist sites.
