Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Sunday, July 14, 2019, joined the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Chiefs and the people of Asanteman to celebrate Akwasidae at the Manhyia palace in Kumasi.
In a tweeted message, Dr. Bawumia commended Otumfuo for his passion to preserve the culture and tradition of his forebearers.
He also praised Otumfuo for his continues commitment to the development of Ghana and also his commitment in promoting a peaceful coexistence among all Ghanaians regardless of their background.
