The grand finale of this year’s edition of Miss Ghana will come off today, August 21 at the National Theatre.
According to Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of the pageant, the event will be virtual and all COVID-19 protocols will be adhered to even though there will be no live audience at the auditorium.
Since the pandemic found its way into Ghana in March, Miss Ghana strategically shifted its attention into engaging its contestants and executing activities virtually.
And it will all be climaxed tomorrow night with one lucky lady getting the bragging rights as Miss Ghana 2020 and taking home so great prizes.
The 16 contestants representing the country’s 16 regions are Dorcas Mansah Dacosta Binfor, Oti Region; Louisa Baiden, Central Region; Georgina Afia Segbefia, Western Region; Adelaide Somuah Twum, Eastern Region; Edwina Seidu Yahaya, Savannah Region; Tung Teiya Dahamani, North-East Region; Jaleela Mohammed Zaman, Northern Region and Nana Afia Twumasi, Ashanti Region.
The rest are Sybrena Buckley, Bono Region; Regina Tetteh, Upper East Region; Annalisa Anangfio, Greater Accra Region; Patience Fafali Gagodo, Ahafo Region; Paulina Seyram Dzamposu, Volta Region; Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui, Bono East Region; Isabella Eyram Agbo, Upper West Region and Selasi Perpetual Penu, Western North Region.
Billed to perform at the grand finale are Okyeame Kwame, Mijay, Arabella, I-Kofi, Mr Ghana brand ambassador, Bright Ofori and Veronica Safo Adu Nti, Miss Ghana 2018.
Edem Smith and Elizabeth Mary Maclean, Miss Ghana 2018 runner-up will be MCs for the event.
