Majid Michel, a Ghanaian actor, model, television personality, evangelist, and humanitarian has commended GTV Breakfast Show host, Kafui Dey for his work and style of conducting interviews stating that Kafui Dey knows how to make his guests feel comfortable before beginning with questioning. He made this statement on GTV Breakfast Show earlier today.
One rule in journalism is to be able to make your guest feel welcomed, comfortable and confident in speaking but not to make them feel tensed in order to achieve great results. Kafui Dey is an award-winning journalist, author, MC and morning show host with GTV has interviewed a number of celebrities on the scoop segment of which some people like Kwadwo Sheldon and Woody Maya ended up crying whilst others laughed as well. According to Majid Michel, he said: “the interesting thing is that this is my second time meeting you and you make your guests very comfortable and I like your spirit”.
He continued by saying, “I’ve been to many interviews and I think you’re the closest to Larry King and you’re on the right track”. “You were born for this”, he concluded. Larry King, born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger was an American television and radio host. Over his career, he hosted over 50,000 interviews.
