Financial clearance has been given for more than 54,000 health workers to be recruited by the end of the year.
The Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu announced this when he took his turn at the Meet-The-Press Series in Accra.
He said the recruitment will reduce the back log of Health professionals who often picket the Ministry for posting.
