Former President John Dramani Mahama will today (August 23), present a letter to the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), to officially declare his intention to contest the vacant flagbearer position of the party.
His letter of intent according to sources is expected to be presented to the party by his campaign team.
The former leader whom many had expected to declare his intention will then proceed to one of the regions where he is expected to seek the blessings of Chiefs and begin his campaign.
