Ghana confirms 25 more coronavirus cases; Total now at 52

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ghana has risen to 52.

This is after 25 more people tested positive.

The Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu announced this on Tuesday (March 24) at a press briefing on Ghana’s update on COVID-19.

According to the Minister, Accra, Tema and Kumasi are the epicenters of the pandemic in Ghana.

The Health Minister noted that 1,030 travellers coming into the country from Sunday (March 22) have been quarantined.

Of that number, 611 samples have been taken. Testing for 185 of those have been completed with 25 testing positive.
