The accused person in the ongoing murder trial of the late MP for Abuakwa North, JB Danquah Adu, Daniel Asiedu also known as “sexy don don” has insisted in court that he needs a Lawyer from the International Criminal Court, ICC to defend his case.
He said the magnitude of his case demands a lawyer from ICC.
Daniel Asiedu therefore pleaded with the court to help him get a lawyer.
Sitting Magistrate, Arit Nsemoh said there are competent lawyers who can defend him and therefore directed the Court Registrar to write to the Judicial Secretary to help the accused, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso get a lawyer from the Legal Aid Service.
The committal proceedings were supposed to have ended Tuesday but due to the absence of a lawyer for the accused, the court adjourned the case to the 6th of next month by which they would have engaged the services of a lawyer.
