The Member of Parliament for Asawase, Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka has rendered an unqualified apology for his altercation with the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong in Parliament Wednesday.

Speaking at an interaction between leadership and the media in Accra, he said the words exchanged left much to be desired.

Touching on the pending report of the privileges committee from a report he once again made against Mr. Agyapong last year, he blamed the leadership of the house for failing to put seriousness to the committee’s report.

The deputy majority whip Matthew Nyindam was optimistic the first report of the appointments committee on Kennedy Agyapong will be taken soon.

He added his voice to the call for a strict separation of powers from the executive and legislative arms Wednesday.
