The National Identification Authority (NIA) is today suspending the Mass Registration of residents in the Eastern region.
This comes at the back of an Interlocutory Injunction restraining the NIA from the continuing exercise following the outbreak of COVID-19.
A statement signed by the Head of Corporate Affairs, Francis Palm Deti urges all field officers to report to the office and render proper account of registration equipment to their respective supervising officers.
It entreats officers to stay home until further notice.
