Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, has called on the Auditor General to strengthen internal structures in all state institutions to help protect the public purse.
He said the Auditor General has done well in recovering some 67 million Ghana Cedis to the state but more needs to be done.
Opening the meeting of Auditors General from the sub-region, Mr. Ofori Atta, said about 13 million dollars have been declared missing and are being investigated.
