From September this year (2020), Vocational and Technical Education in Ghana will be made free by government.

To this end, government has begun expanding infrastructure and refurbishing existing infrastructure and workshops across the 38 Vocational and Technical Institutions in the country.

This was made known at a ceremony to break the ground for the commencement of the projects, which is being spearheaded by government in partnership with Planet One at the Biriwa Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Institute.
