Government has promised to clear all book and research arrears, it owed teachers of Colleges of Education, by September this year (2019). This follows an agreement reached between the two parties.
General Secretary of the College of Education Teachers Association, Nathan Ohene Djan spoke to Ibrahim Kwateng on GBC’s news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind the News’.
The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, said it will ensure the monies are paid based on what the two parties agreed on.
Executive Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Edward Kwapong was however not forthcoming on the amount arrived at during the meeting.
