Alhaji Agongo, a renowned Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist, has over the years distinguished himself not just by his success in business, but by his deep belief in human co-existence built on love, unity and shared responsibility.
His latest acts of kindness once again proves that, for him, humanity comes first.
A Shoulder for a Bereaved Family
In a touching gesture of compassion, Alhaji Seidu Agongo donated GHC 50,000.00 to the wife and children of the late Sanni Jaja. (Former Deputy Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)The donation is to support the family left behind and to remind them that they are not alone in their moment of grief.
In our society where widows and children of the deceased are often forgotten after burial, this act restores faith and shows what true brotherhood means. It is love in action.
Spiritual Support for Leadership and the Nation
In a separate gesture, Alhaji Agongo donated another GHC 5,000.00 to the National Chief Imam, to offer special prayers for the President of the Republic (H.E. John Dramani Mahama)for spiritual enhancement, divine wisdom, and for Mallams across the country.
According to him, a nation does not only need economic policies and infrastructure – it needs spiritual guidance and wisdom for its leaders. By supporting the Chief Imam to pray for the President, Alhaji Agongo has shown that he believes in a Ghana that is led with both knowledge and the fear of God.

Those close to Alhaji Seidu Agongo describe him as,not just as a giver but a man who genuinely believes that no society can progress when love is absent. For him, philanthropy is not about showmanship. It is a duty.
