Agbogbloshie to benefit from $30 million E-waste recycling plant

Agbogbloshie, a suburb of Accra which is the largest electronic or e-waste dumping site in the world, is to have a facelift by the end of the year (2018).
 
The e-waste recycling facility will require about 30 million dollars to address the improper disposal of electronic waste.
 
The Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof. Frimpong Boateng, announced this at a sensitization forum on Act 917, a hazardous and Electronic Waste Control and Management Act.
