The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) has ended the contracts of all caterers working under the programme nationwide.
In an official notice released on May 2, 2025, the GSFP said that no caterer should provide meals during the third term of the 2024/2025 academic year.
”All contracts have been terminated with immediate effect,” the statement said. “No current caterer should cook for the third term.”
The GSFP added that the government will pay all outstanding money owed to caterers for the second term.
”This is part of a bigger plan to restructure the programme,” the GSFP said. New recruitment guidelines will be announced soon.
