Former Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Karaga, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has reaffirmed his commitment to education after providing financial support to 200 tertiary students in the constituency.
The beneficiaries, drawn from various tertiary institutions, received assistance to help settle their school fees under the Anta Education Fund, an initiative established in 2020 to support students facing financial difficulties.
The latest intervention brings the total number of students supported by the fund since its establishment to 1,519.
Dr Amin Adam said the sustained investment in education reflects his conviction that equipping young people with higher education is critical to the development of the Karaga Constituency and the wider Northern Region.
“Education remains our priority,” he said in a Facebook post, emphasising his continued commitment to educational development.
The Karaga MP further assured constituents that he would continue to give greater attention to the education of young people in the constituency.
The latest support forms part of ongoing efforts under the Anta Education Fund to ease the financial burden on students and their families and enable more young people to pursue tertiary education.
