The Head of Cosmetics and Household Chemicals, at the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Emmanuel Nkrumah has asked the public to be wary of expired products likely to flood the markets this yuletide.
He said such products are mostly sold at reduced prices to attract customers.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr Nkrumah said most of such goods are normally fake and could contain harmful chemicals detrimental to one’s health.
He asked the public to report to the FDA if they come across any such product on the market for further action.
