Foreign Affairs Ministry warns against self-styled consultant ahead of 2022 World Cup

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has cautioned the public against engaging the services of one Harriet Gyamfuah, who is purported to be the Public Relations Consultant of the Ghana Mission in Qatar ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In a statement, the Ministry said it has no ties with Harriet Gyamfuah, saying anyone who  deals with her does so at their own risk.

According to the Ministry, this follows some media publications headlined “Ghana Mission in Qatar assures fans of support.”

The Ministry said the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has appointed Kenpong Travel and Tour Company as the official travel and tour agency for the 2022 World Cup and therefore advised the public to contact the company if they intend to travel to Qatar for  the World Cup.

The Ministry assured of its commitment to uphold the friendly relations between Ghana and Qatar.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration wishes to advise the public to adhere to the directive issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports” the statement added.
