Minister of energy, John Peter Amewu says government has began paying the three-month subsidy on electricity tariff to ECG.
The subsidy was announced by President Akufo-Addo to cushion consumers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Amewu who was speaking at the press briefing on COVID-19 I Accra said government has also settled some of the outstanding bills owed ECG by the previous government.
